I was content generalist for 30+ years; owned small businesses in a little bit of everything, now retired/disabled. 3D artist, anims, programming, audio/video, photography, etc. Anti-corp and anti-billionaire-- we all do what we gotta do, but we still "do"

Can confirm.

All the candy is on sale to make way for Christmas candy, lol.
One of the biggest curses of my autism is that I'd rather detonate a nuke in a populated city than knowingly/outright be dishonest with someone. And I would consider the casualties an acceptable cost.

So, do I care about people's discomfort when I speak?

No. I do not.
Most people will die in the same tax bracket they were born in-- for better or worse.

Facts.
Jitspoe...

Listen, okay... I'm about to give you another great idea that's on par with "oww my balls".

Alright... listening?

There's a 0.5% chance that when you kick a door, you get flung backwards and go, "OWW MY FOOT!"
I just wanna say... years later, I still love my Tourbox Neo. One of my best creative-tech purchases ever.
People keep trying to reload their guns by kicking them, so I made reloading kickable.

Kickable reloading.

You should do this.
Doesn't matter the business or what they say, you are not family in any business... unless it is you and your family literally running the business.

Work is contractual, treat it as such 100% of the time.
I'm retired and just fuck around with the occasional side quest... and I still make enough to pay for my Adobe subscription, lol.
People be like Adobe subscription is so expensive.

I'm like... whut?

It's like $500/year for 10+ apps. If you can't make 500/year in a profession... I dunno, maybe you're in the wrong profession? Or maybe you just suck at running a business?
I was always the "I'd rather pay higher taxes to help people" person...

And now that I'm older, and need the assistance myself... I can take it without feeling like a miserable hypocrite.

What a lot of people don't realize... your health don't last, and your insurance hates you.
If people think crime is high now, wait until parents with starving children and no real job prospects have to do what they gotta do to feed their kids.
The USA is like, "Let's only take care of ourselves, fuck the rest of the world!"

Then at the same time, the USA is also like, "Fuck the people of our own country too! Let's take care of billionaires instead!"
History will be written by AI, made biased by billionaires.

People think "history won't be kind to X".

What you live, won't exist as history.
We're already too far to reverse course on the climate devastation... so, I'll go scorched Earth with gaming GPUs.

Might as well have fun while the world burns.
Nobody actually gives two fucks about the climate.

They only care when its someone else's negative contribution... not their own.
Don't really care about AI either way...

However...

If we actually cared about climate we wouldn't have private vehicles or gaming GPUs (hundreds of millions of GPUs spread out individually is every bit as bad as millions of them in a facility powering AI).
I still have one, primary political opinion.

Kill all billionaires.

Everything else fixes itself after that.
I started life poor as shit, then I broke out and had successful businesses... then I got sick and broke as shit again.

I can absolutely, one hundred percent guarantee you money buys happiness.
People who say money doesn't buy happiness has never had money in their life.

Money gets you a stable home, it gets you a sense of security, it gets you food, it gets you transportation for basic needs, it gets you better medical care, etc.

Without those things, happiness is rare and fleeting.
I wish I could make games like I did in the 80s.

..... with the same, child-like innocence I had while making them.
One example is... you can't do a loop cut through a tri-cylinder cap.

But people are like... "but you CAN do it Blender, just select the edge and bevel and move it where you want it"

...... aaaaaand you've already increase my work amount by 300% on this one work-around for a missing feature.
Blender tries to be everything to everyone.

And as a tool that tries to be everything to everyone... it is terrible at pretty much all of them.

But yes, it is an alternative for people who don't value their time.
People keep trying to tell me Blender is an alternative to the pro tools I use...

But what they don't understand is... Blender is absolute ass.
Yup.

Stay as far away from Corel as you can... they invest their purchased software with ads-- or did, the last time I bought it.
