im doing incredibly stupid shit to my menu code like i don't know how else to explain it other then "im adding methods for pressing left/right and up/down explicitly so i can replace those with menu-specific methods when I need to so I can do target selection in an rpg" which sounds and feels insane

Lily just offhandedly mentioned that Mega Sceptile's ability is Lightning Rod, which. Makes NO sense to me. Its ability should be Holiday Cheer, a niw signature ability which makes it immune to ice + heal its partner every turn in snow, because Mega Sceptile is a christmas tree decorated with bells
