I had wondered if I was a bit “museumed-out” but no. Of course not! I went to the Historical Museum and it was an absolute MASTERCLASS in making an engaging and informative place to spend many hours. This is all the nails from a boat, suspended to show the shape 🤯 #thewayfaringpath #sweden #museum

Oh that's so cool! I'd love to stay in the centre. We are about a 15 minute train ride away, which is still fab, but it'd be awesome to be right in the middle of things!

Had a lovely arvo wandering around Gamla Stan (old town) in #stockholm. Managed to choose an eye-wateringly expensive cafe for our #fika (coffee and cake) by mistake, but other than that it was delightful! Such a calm city. Love it! #thewayfaringpath #sweden #travel #europe #photograohy

I’m wondering if it’s a numbing cream they use - I assumed injection at the time. The dentist leaned in and whispered “Swedes are very sensitive!”. Blimey a filling without a jab is pretty intense!

Only 15 mins from the centre of #Stockholm and this is my morning view! Such a lovely forested city. I’ve been to the dentist today for a clean and they were VERY surprised I didn’t have anaesthesia. Us kiwis just tough it out I guess! #Sweden #travel #thewayfaringpath

I watch a few Swedish YouTubers and am always jealous in autumn when they are out #foraging for #mushrooms and berries - and today we foraged in a #Swedish forest! Had a massive haul of delicious mushies, and ate so many blueberries and lingonberries! #thewayfaringpath #sweden #forest

Sweden! Atmospheric night time walk, all bundled up! I love all the trees, and how people have lamps in the windows. I don’t have a stick but clearly looked suitably pathetic when travelling alone recently and confronted with stairs. My bag, Big Bertha, is more of the lift/escalator kind, and I got help from three different people! I was so grateful.

It’s our last day in Andover, heading to Gatwick today for an early flight. House all clean, stuff all packed. I’m in no way emotionally prepared to say goodbye to the cats but that’s all part of this itinerant life. Sadly we aren’t leaving on a steam train as Dad did on Sunday :) #thewayfaringpath

Today was VERY exciting as we got to hang out with my Dad and step-Mum - they are in the UK for a week and took a #steamtrain to a town near us! #Alresford is super cute and the station was ADORABLE!
