It’s Mugshot Monday and I have some new mugs out of the kiln to share.

POTTERS NOTES:
Laguna BMix5 fired to cone 5.5
Speedball Black underglaze brushed on then wiped back. The glaze was Amaco Smoke Celedon X 3. The underglaze transfer came from Plum Island Transfers.

I heard from a dear friend asking if I could make herb strippers like a picture she enclosed. I said “Sure!” and so I’m in the process of making these herb strippers that are in the drying stage.

I create my pottery in my garage. It’s not the prettiest studio, but it’s my studio. During this cold January in Ft Worth, Tx, I’ve done a little handbuilding in my house instead. This is the time of year when I try new projects.
