snowed in. Food reserves almost depleted. no success with hunting and trapping. hunger pains will start soon.

Youngish (late twenties) Ku-juun is going through all of that.

A runnaway, or an abandoned? They are not dressed for this weather, that’s for sure.

The hand is beyond saving, the frostbite too severe. To save the patient, amputation is the only option.
