Timo Glock received a lot of abusive messages after what happened in Brazil in 2008 so this is not new. I really don’t get this kind of behaviour myself, a sad reflection of modern society.

Agreed, governments see motorists as a cash cow and I cannot see that changing anytime soon.

This was always going to happen regardless of who is in power. The loss of tax revenue from diesel and petrol sales needs to replaced by something else.
