Hm, might be. Or it might be the easing method? It looks like it's popping in and then slowly animating the last part. Or perhaps they're hidden at first, then visible when the animation is part way through?

Today I learned that V-Sync can cause input lag. In my case there was a very noticeable delay after clicking on a button. Disabling V-Sync removed the delay. Good lesson! The next game I make will be more graphics heavy, so I'll take that one with me. docs.godotengine.org/en/4.4/tutor...

My wife and I just had our first outing on our own since we got our second kid two years ago. Gamedev, projects, work and hobbies in all their glory - sometimes I "forget" what life is truly about. Friends, family, making the most of the time we have. It was a lovely night.
