This was always my favourite "review" of our rave movie!

The 20 year old me back in 1992 would never have imagined that 33 years later there would be represses of two of my #oldskool #rave EPs, and fantastic new 2025 remixes by Pete Cannon, Stu Keating and Paul Bradley!

Out now on Kniteforce Records.

Our #indie #rave movie #BelushisToilet was briefly ranked #2,441 out of a whopping 1,205,389 movies on The Movie Database! It doesn't sound like much, but that's in the top group, along with many big budget productions. It was even higher than the classic rave movie "Human Traffic" at #13,236!

For the best part of the last year I've been trawling through 300 floppy disks of my old rave music I found from back in the early 90s, remastering them on a newly refurbished Ensoniq EPS 16 Plus. The first batch is out on a compilation album today! Enjoy!

Ensoniq EPS 16 Plus SCSI board now installed, along with a ZuluSCSI Mini RP2040. What a difference in load and save times! My younger self 33 years ago dreamed of such things!

The best thing about being the music supervisor for a feature film is filling it with music from some of your favourite #commodore64 musicians! Big thanks to @c64audio.bsky.social for the licensing.

Out of all the equipment I've ever owned, I still consider these Sony MDR-7506 headphones to be the most important piece!

My current Ensoniq EPS 16 Plus didn't come with a SCSI interface or the memory expansion board, but I found these aftermarket boards from the wizard Johan Sahlberg at ZIN Circuits. The next step will be to get all my disk images from the Gotek floppy emulator to a SCSI emulator.

Okay Bluesky, do me proud. Can anyone identify the track that was sampled in this old Commodore Amiga demo from 1989? It sounds like an Italo House track, but I've never found it in 35 years of searching!

Installed a Gotek Floppy Drive emulator on the Ensoniq EPS 16 Plus, in place of the 3.5" floppy drive. Flashed it with open source Flashfloppy firmware. It was a mission, but it works! I've now got 291 floppy disk images of oldskool rave tunes I wrote in the early 90s to sort through!

Removing the 3.5" floppy drive from the Ensoniq EPS 16 Plus. Will be installing a Gotek floppy emulator in its place.

If one image summed up the realities of independent filmmaking, it would be this behind the scenes photo from our first feature film, "Belushi's Toilet". Spare a thought for our Director of Photography!

33 years ago I wrote a bunch of tunes on my Commodore Amiga, which unexpectedly became underground bleep-techno hits. I remastered them using MadTracker and now you can enjoy "Rotor - Amiga 1991" on all popular streaming sites.

Got my hands on this beauty! Ensoniq EPS 16 Plus. Great condition. I can finally master all the unfinished rave tunes I wrote on my old one back in the UK in 1992! Just got to sort through hundreds of old floppy disks!

Amazing that a track we wrote 33 years ago is STILL appearing on compilation albums! Ours is the first track. I have very fond memories of Carl Cox playing it the first night I went to ESP at Milwaukee's in 1991. mentalgroove.bandcamp.com/album/bleeps...
