If you've never seen the BBC's 1995 adaptation of Austen's Persuasion - I urge you to watch it on BBC4 this evening. In my view one of the best versions of Austen ever and sadly at the time over shadowed by the production of Pride & Prejudice the same year. Stunning direction from Roger Michell.
