I'm looking for new color combinations for these paint prints I've been making with the gelli plate. What would you suggest? As you can see, I love contrasts, lol.

I did it. The present wrapping is done. I have two Christmas's this year, so two piles - just don't let me get them mixed up lol. Did I mention I am really not a fan of wrapping - I can never get my corners straight and even. What's your gift wrapping tips?"

I was really thrilled to see how well gel medium works as a "paint" when making backgrounds on the gelli plate. My favorite effect is still the beaded acrylic paint - you never know how it's going to dry out after you've squirted the water on,

#TinyTeaser - I am so proud of my Apollo story - you all know how I struggled with it, as I'm more comfortable with characters that need redeeming, and Apollo didn't fit that category. But the finished story made me smile. It's on preorder now :) :) :)

My books are all on sale on Smashwords this month for their holiday season. I have marked all titles 25% off, so now might be a good time to check them out and pick up some holiday reading :) <3 :)

I made a crazy collage, just using scaps of tissue and paper on my art journal table, and then decided it needed some embellishing. The gold lines are subtle, but really make a difference and then I decided to add some little word signs I made in Photoshop.

I've been playing with watercolor again - I love the idea of how multiple layers, all spritzed with water, gives so many different effects. And then, I had my first try at doing negative stenciling - fortunately I had an unused toothbrush lol - and while I don't think this paper is the best for

I wasn't going to do a freebie link this month as I do have two new releases already, but if you haven't tried my Gods Made Me Do It Series yet, this standalone story about "Baby" who is Poseidon's son might give you a warm glow over the holidays. A story about mistakes that can be made,

So wonderful to have my grandson here this afternoon - he put up my tree for me and did a lovely job of it. I don't have many baubles and things on it, and we agreed I probably need more tinsel for next year perhaps in darker colors, but every bauble I have has the name of one of

My muse is taking a little holiday this week, and I was having some fun with a cozy MM rom-com dragon story - it's been on my mind for a while, so I thought I'd try and commit it to paper. But when researching dating techniques for modern people - I can't remember the last time I was on a date, lol

#TinyTeaser - I have been getting such wonderful feedback from my lovely readers about Devon and Wren's story (Cuddles for the Bear, Assassin's Alley #3). Thank you all so much - I know this is such a busy time of year, so the appreciation is doubled <3 If you haven't read it yet,

Sigh... I thought I would do an art journal page, and I wanted a bright and colorful background. So I sprayed some ink, and added some water and walked away, because just like when you do resin, you have no idea how the page will dry. The plan was to add some form of design,

Sometimes you just have to appreciate the beauty of a good day. What's it like where you are today?

Lamont (Hellhound Collar series) decided to treat himself to a lovely meal at Pier888 on the Nile. Just looking at the pictures made me feel hungry, lol.

They worked - they worked - I'm still thinking about adding some touches to bring out the dragon with paint pens, but they didn't combust and ruin the mold, lol.

That moment when you do a full pour in a deep mold with art resin, and you just pray the exotherm gods are busy wrecking someone else's creation today. Technically, this should not work... but for some reason I hope that they will, lol.

I was having a lengthy chat with Holly the other day and we were talking about doing ficlets/short stories based on characters I've already written. Something like a "day in the life" or something like that. Which characters of mine would you like to see more of?

#TinyTeaser - Devon and Wren's story - Cuddles for the Bear - is now live and I'm quietly, not so quietly, hoping everyone will enjoy it. I truly adore the men at Assassin's Alley.

“He won’t hurt me.” Devon had to trust that was true. No matter what form Wren was in, his animal side…sides…

I threw some leftover resin in here, and it actually came out nice - do you think I should highlight the tree branches in a dark brown or gold, for example to make them stand out, or keep them the way they are?

#ThrowbackThursday - I know I should've been thinking about the Assassin's Alley series at the moment, seeing as book 3 - Cuddles for the Bear - has just come out, but I'm always thinking ahead lol, and I got to thinking about Loki's story which is where we met Ru and Ty. But in Loki's story,

Does anyone else do this? When I get a new resin mold, I tend to mix up some random colors and pour them, just to see what the mold looks like when it's cured. I did these ones recently and I'm already getting ideas on what I can do with them - maybe transluscent tints in the resin to make

I do love my gelli plate, and when I pull them out, I tend to go a bit overboard, but these textures have come out so well, and will make great collage pieces, covers, or even (with additions) pieces of art in their own right.

It's been a quiet week for me, as there have been a few things I've been dealing with IRL. If you've seen my video, or read my post on Patreon the past week (available to free members, too) then you'll know what I mean. But today I was wondering what you've been up to. For some reason

#TinyTeaser - Some of the lovely comments I've had about Devon and Wren's story (Cuddles for the Bear) on my Patreon is about the growth Wren and Devon went through over the course of the story. Especially for Wren when you think about where he came from...

Curled up with a book, immersing myself in other worlds is one of my favorite ways to spend the day. What have you been up to this week?
