Discovered an orb weaver spider 🕷️ has set up her web 🕸️ in the fence/trellis corner next to my climbing rose. 🥰

My bookplate order from Bookplate Ink arrived today! 🥰😍 Recently found the company, it’s continuing the designs of Antioch Bookplate Co. Decades ago I started placing this black cat 🐈‍⬛📚 plate in my books, but eventually the plates were no longer sold. Now I get to continue!

Every year my common milkweed thrives - but it won’t attract any monarchs 🤔😔 Any suggestions on what I can do to help monarchs find this plant for their larvae?🐛🐛
🤞 I added some blazing meadow star and a young echinacea plant - that won’t bloom until next year.
