Overheard a comment today & it made me mad. People often forget the military isn't some emotionless entity standing between us & danger. It's living, breathing human beings who feel love, anger & fear the same as you & me. Cut them some slack. We owe them. I couldn't do what they do. Could you?

I use em-dashes all the time. I group things in 3 or 5, say 'highlights' & 'showcases', use no... no... just..., and practically everything else listed on Wikipedia as a danger sign. Apparently, I'm AI. I think I need to have words with my mother..

What's one time you got a shock seeing someone for the first time after hearing their voice? Mine was seeing Stevie from Good Mythical Morning. All this time, I was picturing a native American woman with dark hair, and a roundish face. Stevie's, like, the complete opposite lol.

I don't understand the USA. I really don't. Dude's walking down the street on a day warm enough for a T-shirt wearing a ski mask on his way to the store, passing 2 schools in a high crime area, and this is NOT considered reasonable grounds for the cops to pull him aside and ask what he's about. Wtf?

Just because you have a constitutional right doesn't mean you have to use it. How does Mum watch these videos? I get so mad hearing people escalate up & up when all you need is to show ID & you'll be on your way. Every cop in the country isn't out to get you ffs. Stop making their job harder.
