In the saga of my full-time employer not paying our (mine and my husband's salaries), I was called unreasonable when respectively asking for an update, explaining my debit orders were being returned.

This whole thing didn't make sense to me. Amazon released the last statement initially, but surely Bloomsbury relies on Amazon more? Why delay the negotiations to the point that Amazon releases a statement. Like, was the contract going to the wrong mailbox???

This whole thing didn't make sense to me. Amazon released the last statement initially, but surely Bloomsbury relies on Amazon more? Why delay the negotiations to the point that Amazon releases a statement. Like, was the contract going to the wrong mailbox???

Unpopular opinion: Authors shouldn't spend hours on TikTok creation with the hope of viral success. The booktok effect is primarily creators who all shared their love for a book.. it wasn't the author promoting their own book. Most algorithms don't like self promo because they want you to pay.
