Master study painting I did based on Jacques Wagrez's 1902 piece "The Chess Players".
It's part of the Atelier Hylia project (Recreating classical pieces with zelda characters).
The women playing chess with a guy watching them immediately made me think of Zelda2. There are two princesses at the end!

I really, really like hubworlds where you have to move the character to the stages walking through a place that's lived in and gets more alive the more you accomplish in game, like in SPM, Mario Sunshine and Mario Galaxy 😊 they all feel like home and I've spent way too much time there hahah

I agree! Sometimes it also just feels like a stretch, and forcing things to work is just not it. I do love connecting things but like you said, some things really don't need to be. I feel like it's a consequence of all the multiverse stuff 😂
