Ben Taylor is 8 years old and in 3rd grade. He loves both playing and watching baseball, and his favorite team is the Baltimore Orioles. Ben also likes to play soccer, and enjoys math, reading, playing chess, and video games. His favorite movie is The Sandlot.

Shaunessy is a member of SCBWI, 12x12, & was selected this spring as a mentee in the PB Rising Stars program. Over the past year, Shaunessy was honored to be recognized in writing competitions like 50 Precious Words, the Halloweensie Contest, the KidLit Chuckle Challenge, & the Valentiny Contest.

Kelly has a PhD in English from the University of North Texas and teaches writing and literature courses at a Kansas community college. Her debut picture book, Scrappers (The Little Press), will appear on shelves in 2027.
