It is #PortfolioDay once more. I'm a traditional illustrator specializing in pen and ink. I've contributed to a number of fiction publications and TTRPG projects, and I am currently looking for more work!
Loved it. I'd seen some of Mark's YouTube stuff over the years and wasn't sure if he could pull it off but his acting was damn good, especially as the only character on screen for most of it. And I'm always a sucker for a space nightmare scenario

Yeah this just sucks. So much good music tainted now.

It's a terrible business decision, too. Half the bands they play with and most of their local metal scene probably won't want anything to do with them after this.

I don't talk about current events on here much because a) I am frankly not much of a Poster at the best of times
and b) most of my current takes boil down to "everyone currently dictating the direction of our civilization needs to be [REDACTED] in the [REDACTED] without delay"

Good call! Gotta go pore over Griz Grobus. I really like the amount of variety he packs into a relatively desaturated palette. Nice work @thenazavr.bsky.social !

Comics people! Who's your favorite colorist and why?

I'm trying to study up so I'm not stuck in monochrome forever.

In the past year I've taken several months of longsword fighting, begun learning to blacksmith, and completed one of the hardest hikes in the state.

Now I just have to build a moonshine still for "potions", get back into archery and evade arrest a few times and I'll be a well-rounded RPG character

This book exposed my little six-year-old brain to the concept of cosmic horror for the first time. Moomin always has this strange balance of cozy and sinister and I love it for that

Man I love the look of traditional paintings that go this hard. So vibrant! Incredible stuff
