I’d watch Jessie Buckley read the phone book. Can’t wait to see her in this

Can’t decide what to buy on Prime Day?

Try: absolutely nothing, and then go support indie bookstores instead 📚

So, I managed to get in touch with Nat West directly and they say they will accept dollar cheques if you take them into the branch. Result!
lizfremantle.bsky.social
It looks like the only way – and of course my session has times out now, so I have to start the claim all over again. Grrr!
lizfremantle.bsky.social
Apparently Nat West stopped accepting them in 2024 along with several other banks
lizfremantle.bsky.social
That's what I thought but it turns out that Nat West won't accept US dollar cheques. I feel that can't be right

Authors! Is anyone else making a claim from the Anthropic Settlement? I've filled in the whole claim form but there doesn't appear to be a payment option that works for the UK. Anyone got advice?

A great endorsement from @lizfremantle.bsky.social for Women Who Ruled the World: 5000 Years of Female Monarchy. Elizabeth has written so many wonderful historical novels, including Firebrand, on which the major feature film was based last year

‘A fascinating exploration’

You're probably wrong about all three.

Watermelon, feta, black olives, mint and lime juice. Also nice with duck.
