I thoroughly disliked Eat Pray Love and never wanted to read another self-obsessed EG book, especially as we watch a beautiful young woman go through awful treatment to give her more time with her son, and watch our daughter doing all she can for her friend and knowing it’s not enough to save her.

I haven’t used Insta much but a friend pointed out GG Sam Mostyn’s account, saying it was so informative. Will have to dip my toe in.
When our grandsons woke us at 1am Sunday morning because one had a blood nose, it was so much better than the time one of our kids came into our room at 2am, said they felt sick and proceeded to throw up all over our bed.
I enjoyed it very much. Will watch again. The book it’s based on, Rocket Boys, was very good too.

It sounds lovely! My husband was born in Soest near Utrecht, but the family emigrated to Australia when he was a baby.
