Built 85 years apart. The first picture I took on 6/23/2017 while I was standing in one of the old prisoner barracks at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Nazi concentration camp in Oświęcim, Poland. The second picture is a photo of “Alligator Alcatraz” detention camp in the Florida Everglades 😢

I graduated from Florida State University, as did my sister, my father and both my daughter and my son. I have lived in Tallahassee for over 50 years and spent my entire career working at FSU. I am just heartbroken over what happened on our beautiful campus yesterday 😢 💔
