This is sadly exactly what I just experienced tonight and it traumatized me on Threads. I was essentially told that I can’t treat myself after taking care of my important needs and on top of all that, I was misgendered and even had a person be ableist to me. Ugh.

The user said that mutual aid should never be spent on anything frivolous (Fun). And to that I say, that's none of your business. If we have money left over to treat ourselves to the movies, the club, or to buy one stupid thing we wanted, that's our right.

Why are we shaming people?

On Threads, there's discourse about mutual aid, and honestly, I don't think we should judge people for what they decide to do with the money. Asking for mutual aid is hard enough, we shouldn't spread the message that you should only ask for it if you're on the brink of death. It's not fair fr.

Had my first full night’s sleep in decades after having the stents from my sinus surgery removed.

Holy chalupas, not only I could actually breathe fully but I actually slept through the night until almost 9 A.M. EST. I never had that for years, and now I do.

Finally!

Been recovering from sinus surgery since August 6th. On a two week post-op recovery break. I’ll be returning soon with new updates, content and more. Until then, see you next time.
