James Cook is back in Miami, the city where, at 3 years old, he kept interrupting his brothers' football practice because he wanted to be part of their team.

Miami is also where he blazed his own path, one that helped him become a top NFL running back.

Terrel Bernard (elbow), Spencer Brown (shoulder), Joshua Palmer (ankle) and Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) are improving, said Sean McDermott.

The Bills will have to see how each progresses this week.

Joey Bosa has a hamstring injury and Dion Dawkins is still in the protocol.

Sean McDermott called the ass kicking in Pittsburgh a perfect example of "Buffalo Bills football."

This team has flaws. Every AFC contender does. But if the Bills win in the trenches, they've got a chance to overcome their weaknesses.

James Cook fumbles and the Steelers recover.

The Bills' 11th turnover in their last four games. Pittsburgh takes over at Buffalo's 39-yard line.

Tre'Davious White had a great third-down play in coverage during the first defensive series in Houston and he just made another on third down in Pittsburgh.

Incomplete pass to Austin forced the Steelers to punt.

Josh Allen intercepted on third-and-9.

The Bills' 10th turnover over their last three-plus games. Tougb to win that way.

Cold and windy in Pittsburgh.

Pitt played here yesterday, so we'll see if the field is in decent shape.

"All I’ll say is we’ve been here before and history repeats itself."

Pressure is mounting for the Bills.

Can they finish the regular season strong? If they don't, what could it mean for the long-term direction? My Sunday story:

Another pressure-filled stretch for the Bills could determine their decisions for 2026
Not only will the next six weeks determine whether this team can finally reach the NFL's final game of the season, but the results may also determine the long-term direction

From today’s front page — Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard went to high school just 28 miles from NRG Stadium, where he’ll take on the Texans tonight.

In Weeks 2 through 9, the Bills' running backs caught just 12 passes from Josh Allen.

They have 13 catches over the past two games. Why the sudden change and how it can help the entire offense:

James Cook, Ty Johnson and Ray Davis could help Bills' passing game reach another level
Ten weeks into the season, Buffalo finally used its running backs the past two games to take pressure off Allen and revive a passing attack that's been surprisingly inconsistent with

Rather than play Keon Coleman in Houston, the Bills used Gabe Davis' second practice-squad elevation.

Davis has one remaining. Wide receiver/returner Mecole Hardman Jr. landed on IR with his calf injury. Tight end Keleki Latu also elevated for tonight because Dalton Kincaid is out.

Week 12

Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins told Keon Coleman that it's time to grow up.

If Coleman doesn't learn from his third benching in less than two seasons, the second-year receiver may go down as Brandon Beane's biggest mistake as Bills GM.

My column:

Lance Lysowski: Bills didn't need Keon Coleman vs. Bucs, and another benching makes WR look like a whiff
Apparently, Sean McDermott's previous messages didn’t sink in, because Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman slipped up again this week. This time, McDermott dropped the hammer Sunday by making Col...

Josh Allen to James Cook for a 25-yard touchdown.

Dime. Cook's first receiving TD of the season. Joe Brady regretted not passing on early downs in Miami. Allen has cut it loose today. Bills lead 31-26 with 3:48 left in the third quarter.

Another interception by Bills safety Cole Bishop.

Dove to make the play on third down. Buffalo had a spy for Mayfield. He forced the throw and Bishop made him pay.

Bills take over at TB's 25-yard line.
November 16, 2025 at 8:19 PM
Ty Johnson turns a short catch in to a 52-yard touchdown with 36 seconds left in the second quarter.

Khalil Shakir and Curtis Samuel with phenomenal blocks on the perimeter to spring Johnson. Bills lead 21-17.
November 16, 2025 at 7:25 PM
Sean Tucker untouched for a 43-yard touchdown.

The Bills' defense is in deep trouble today if they can't stop the run. Good luck containing Baker Mayfield if you can't bottle up Tucker and Rachaad White.

Bucs lead 17-14.

Josh Allen was in trouble, until he saw a wide-open Tyrell Shavers, who got behind the Buccaneers' defense to catch a 43-yard TD.

Bills lead 14-10 with 8:52 left in the second quarter.

In addition to Keon Coleman, the Bills' inactives are WR Elijah Moore, LB Shaq Thompson (hamstring), CB Ja'Marcus Ingram, DT Phidarian Mathis (shoulder), OL Chase Lundt and TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring).

Taron Johnson and Cam Lewis are good to go.

Gabe Davis, a 26-year-old receiver who caught 21 touchdown passes from Allen during his previous stint in Buffalo, got elevated from the practice squad to the active roster to face the Buccaneers.
