Then, I would absolutely say Super Mario Galaxy 2. It’s a peak 3D platformer.
Now, I guess I would still say Galaxy 2. Fossil Fighters Champions released in 2010 in Japan, but didn’t release in the US until 2011, so that’s technically my favorite game from 2010. Both are great games regardless.

At the time I definitely would’ve said Pokémon Conquest. I had a lot of fun with that game after renting it.
Now, I’d probably still say Conquest, but Pokémon B2W2 and Fire Emblem Awakening (even though it came out in 2013 here) are really close as well.
