#ThePitt is hands down one of the best shows on television right now. I don't know the last time I marked off a day on my calendar each week to watch each new episode.

For a lot of people, it's a lack of access and consideration that disables them. It's about the physical and cultural environment of a space in relation to a person/persons lead to disenfranchisement.

To quote them directly "it's not about numbers, but about power and equity"

@mxchristalbot.bsky.social's latest CCF article mentioned shifting their language from minority to minoritized to distinguish between systemic marginalization of a group rather than being in a group where their identity is not the most represented.

It made me think of the social model of disability
