First #portfolioday ever!

Lobinez is my online name, live somewhere in Mexico, and I let my inner beast express himself through conceptual visual artwork (and humor) that involves the creation of elaborate costumes, photography, video, photomanips, and memes.

So howl… howl…
For the forest, for the earth
For the story still written
For the fire still burning.

There are deeper currents — old stories, wild forces, ancestral memory — that remind us we are part of something larger.

Even in the middle of uncertainty and despair, we are not powerless, not alone, and not cut off from meaning. Our role is to live, walk, howl, and carry the story forward.

In a world ruled by darkness, bring forth light.
Lobinez wearing an Aztec style conchero and a drum stands on a mountain slope. Their figure faces the wild landscape, framed by peaks and forest, evoking an ancient presence in nature.

This is my personal favorite type of trope! Love it!

I'm from Mexico, so many things I love from here, both from nature and culture. Nahuales are my favorite cultural element of the prehispanic myths/practices that are still pretty much alive today: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagual

Let's preserve the forests! Without them there's no chance of these type of encounters.

Last Monday I learned how the reintroduction of wolves into Yellowstone literally trickled down to STABILIZING the rivers. What was it called? Trophic cascade!

More wolves meant deer avoided areas -> more trees and shrubs -> stable riverbanks -> less erosion -> less flooding

Precisely! Well explained!
