Sure buildings and people get blown up, but the impact of it is hardly brought up. It could be argued that there’s a point in that but having your antagonist overpowered only makes it more underwhelming when they’re defeated because the movie/arc has to come to an end.

Chainsawmanmovie was good, my hot take however is that there are probably too many explosions.

Bogs down the stakes and tension just constantly going boom-boom-boom and not seeing repercussions or consequences immediately from it.
