I think the thing that has surprised me the most as I've reached middle age is the loneliness. A complete and utter sense that there is no group of peers or a community that i am a part of. Oof.

SNL 50 was better than I expected. Tina and Amy were incredible, Eddie and Will Ferrell were hilarious, and all the celebs played their part beautifully! (Cher: "I have answers." 😂)

This is my 5th day in the Phoenix area taking care of my mother, which mostly consists of sitting by her bed and getting things for her while she recovers from illness. She has daytime TV on all day and I'm amazed at how "The News" rationalizes the current administration's overreach.
