Here's a new mini trailer for Paleophage, my Resident Evil and Dino Crisis inspired indie survival horror game.

Thanks to everyone's support and feedback, there has been so much progress and so many updates to the game over the last few months, I figured it needed a new trailer.

Working on the final skin and hair mats for my human characters, adding small touches like blinking, facial animation and eye tracking. Some rigging stuff still wip

I also updated the Megalograptus blood again, it used to be a lighter, more solid color and it kind of looked like paint. It now has more varied color and thickness. I also updated the animation to be less bouncy and they now explode/come apart when they die

This week for #screenshotsaturday, I updated the way the player holds the handgun. I had a few comments a while back about how it was a bit off. It was held straight out at chest level before, now it's held at eye level in a way that I think is more practical.

Reminiscing on Rome and I think this might be my favorite piece of classical sculpture ever. The info plaque just said it as a Roman depiction of Anubis, but when trying to find more info about it, this statue comes up as Hermanubis, a hybrid of te Greek god Hermes and the Egyptian god Anubis
