We’re kicking off colorway reveals for the Tropical Collection with Rum Runner.

It features swirls of mango, coral, and fuchsia with speckles of aqua, neon purple, and bright orange.
RUM RUNNER 1 1/2 ounces dark rum 1 ounce banana liqueur 1 ounce blackberry liqueur (like crème de cassis or Chambord) 1 ounce pineapple juice 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice 1/2 ounce grenadine Cocktail cherry and pineapple wedge, for garnish Each of the variegated colorways in the collection takes inspiration from a classic tiki cocktail. RUM RUNNER features swirls of mango orange, bright coral, and fuchsia pink with speckles of aqua blue, bold purple, and fluorescent orange. Does anything sound more delicious to enjoy while swinging in a hammock, watching the sunset over the ocean? The Tropical Collection preorder launches on June 14 at 4pm MT. This collection will have a 10-12 week turnaround time.

Our next Disney song inspired colorway is Colors of the Wind. It features repeating shades of sunflower yellow, rich gold, teal green, lilac, and deep eggplant that capture the hues that swirl through the air around Pocahontas during the song.

Disney songs + creating new colorways in the dye pans have been my go to escape from reality lately. So I’ve combined the two to make some new hand dyed fiber inspired by some of my favorite Disney songs.

You may have noticed my (not so subtle) hints having to do with some of my favorite songs from Disney soundtracks and lots and lots of fiber. 🎶🤭 I’ve had the idea to do something like a Disney’s Sing-a-long collection for awhile now, but lately I’ve been finding myself randomly turning on my Disney songs playlist as a way to escape reality and the never ending chaos of today’s news cycle. Combining that happy place with the creative outlet of dyeing fiber has brought me comfort and fulfillment over the last several weeks and it’s a habit I hope I can keep up whenever I have some spare time & fiber in the studio. So let me introduce our first batch of fiber inspired by some of my favorite Disney songs! I hope they can bring a little bit of joy and magic to you, just as they have for me. ✨ The first song I absolutely knew I wanted to dye a colorway for was UNDER THE SEA from The Little Mermaid. That soundtrack was truly the hardest to narrow down to just one song. The whole thing is just jammed full of my favorites, but the scene and the song are just so colorful and upbeat that I could immediately imagine the colorway I wanted to create. Our Disney inspired fiber will be available May 10 at 4pm MT. These braids are ready to ship, but our inventory will be limited in this first drop as we gauge interest in this idea.

We’re keeping the tomato theme rolling over here with the reveal of our May Heirloom 🍅 Club inspiration: Queen of the Night.

Club sign-ups open on April 15.
