I've been in Mexico, Central America and south America traveling alone for four years. I just got a ticket to visit my kids in the US and i feel more afraid to go back there than i ever did on public buses in remote areas down here

Unlike Venezuela, it seems like guatemala teaches modern history in school and hasn't forgotten what the US bringing "prosperity and democracy" looks like. The amount of guatemalan flags being flown seems to grow by the day.

So confusing. First all Venezuelans were tren de aragua from insane asylums. Then we fixed their problem by kidnapping Maduro so they can go home. Now costume barbie says they can claim asylum in the US. Why do they need asylum if we fixed their problem? Can anyone make that make sense for me?

I keep seeing maga call Venezuela the 51st state. Do the idiots not know they'd get a vote. It probably wont be to give all their resources to the other 50 while they still live in poverty and starvation

Less than five minutes after inviting me to Christmas mass, knowing Im an athiest, my neighbor complained because i gave an elderly woman with no legs and no wheelchair, the equivalent to $1. On Christmas eve no less. I will never understand people.
