Finally finished my Virgil DMC5 play through and I love how they fully cut Nero out of the cutscenes.😊 Hilarious how you get to see half his backside for about two seconds immediately before it cuts to the demon world. 🥹

And there’s no style throughout the environments. The only time I got the right vibe from them was the one spot where you can see the ground is breaking and rising up but that’s just background imagery. I wish they would have explored the worlds combining and warping idea more.😔

The level design is definitely my least favorite part of the game. Especially in the stupid tree whose name I can’t spell, it’s either super linear or I’m lost the whole time.

I wish DMC5 had mission names like 3 did. I don’t dislike anything about the way it is, but tell me these title cards don’t get you hyped.

I’m not quite there yet but I am getting close. Her fight is definitely the one I am dreading most. Currently doing a play through of 5 so looking forward to forgetting all the buttons (I play them on different controllers)

I just meant that she heals from the grab really fast lol. Even if you devil trigger basically instantly to get out it’s most of her health back

It may be because my computer can’t actually run the game (I had to play it on console instead) but for me DMC5 is second. The story of 5 is my favorite of the series, but DMC3 is the best to me. The vibe is just too good

Yeah it’s really fun once you get the hang of it but it can be tricky to learn. Also it’s just funny as a concept, especially in serious scenes. Imagine Dante pulling out the guitar at every available opportunity.

Well I booted up my ace attorney (trilogy) save, only to discover that I hadn’t saved after beating the second game and was immediately hit with this dialogue. I have not played in almost two months and have completely forgotten what was happening in the plot. 😭
