Another big win for my Penguins! I wouldn’t have guessed at all after last season that Buffalo would be competitive, but they’ve been solid this year.

Another big win for my Penguins! I wouldn’t have guessed at all after last season that Buffalo would be competitive, but they’ve been solid this year.
First world problems: I really want a wireless charger for my phone because my new case makes it extremely annoying to plug in.

In the 30-ish minutes it took me to clear our walk and porch of snow, and I’d say it was about a foot deep, there was noticeable accumulation where I started. Mercifully it was still fluffy. Friends of mine further south are getting dense snow and ice.

I think Ollie Watkins took my earlier comment personally. 😅 Perfect timing for him to crash the corner of the net and shut down any hope for Newcastle to salvage a point. Digne had a beautiful cross to set it up. Up the Villa!!

Aston Villa is up by 0-1 at the half thanks to a beautiful goal by Buendia. We had a few great chances to go up by more over Newcastle, but Watkins just looks lost every time he touches the ball.

I haven’t been outside yet because I left the dogs sleeping with my SO, but I’m guessing we have about 6” of snow so far.

Took my dog out, and wow is it awful outside. The snow is basically balls of ice falling (it almost sounds like rain), and the temperature is brutally cold. I’m not looking forward to tomorrow morning.

We finished cleaning our house, so now I assume the only other productive thing I’ll do this weekend is shoveling snow and clearing off cars… multiple times for each.

It’s Friday night, and I’m already dreading how busy Monday will be. I thought I’d have time to get some work done this afternoon, but the 1:30 - 5 PM block I had open as of Thursday morning somehow turned into being booked solid. 😑

The past few weeks have been pure agony for the Milwaukee Bucks, and tonight made it even worse with Giannis getting hurt (again) on top of the loss to a severely depleted Nuggets team.

The only thing keeping the Bucks in this game at the half is the fact that Denver also decided to completely forget how to shoot the ball, especially in the first quarter.

Our Office 365 environment (I haven't put in any effort to see if it's more widespread; I'm guessing not) seems to have some weird issue where updates to already scheduled Zoom meetings (e.g. cancellation or time change) don't update the existing event. Great to have phantom meetings on my calendar.
