He needs to stop teasing. It will never get anywhere because they won’t want to sit for depositions and give discovery. He’s just trying to claim the news cycle, and it’s not working.

It's a temporary stay. It's part of the process to let the sides argue and appeal it all the way up. You can't change the constitution with an executive order. That should prevail.

This is expected. DOJ appealed, the judge is giving them time to reply (with more rope to hang themselves). This is how our system works. Then the other side may or may not reply and the judge will rule.
