Yay! Walgreens does.

Now have up to date flu and covid shots.
lostshadows.bsky.social
Forgot to ask my doctor for a flu shot Wednesday, so decided to take CVS up on the flu shot they kept bugging me to get.

When I got there, I was told they don't have a deal with my insurance company for flu shots. 🤬

One of the cartoons in my new book 'Physics for Cats' which is out now in the UK, USA, Canada, France and Germany. Order from your local bookshops or online: www.tomgauld.com/
Two beetles on a stick.
One beetle says to the other "Do you ever get the feeling we are being observed by another lifeform"
Zoom out to reveal that they are in a glass case with two scientists studying them.
One scientist says to the other "Do you ever get the feeling we are being observed by another lifeform"
Zoom out into space. Abouard a spaceship, two aliens watch the scientists on a screen.
One alien says to the other "Do you ever get the feeling we are being observed by another lifeform"
The aliens turn to look out at the reader.

Text below the cartoon reads:
From 'Physics for Cats' by Tom Gauld. Preorder it at www.tomgauld.

I'm wondering if the internet would be a better or worse place if they had access.
The Warner Brothers and their sister Dot, in plushie form

Looked it up while listening to part one and discovered I watched the whole series

Could have sworn I tapped out after the first episode

How could a straight-to-series greenlight go so wrong for the first TV series I ever created?! Today, the 5AM StoryTalk Podcast brings you Part 1 of a four-part Hollywood horror story I describe as a cautionary tale for screenwriters about what can happen when all your dreams come true.
The Horror of 'Dracula': The Unbelievable True Story of the 2013 TV Series - Part 1

The traditional 9th anniversary gifts are pottery or wicker so here’s wishing you love and a bountiful harvest @jeremydnichols.bsky.social

I think that's the easiest Easy I've encountered from Pips.

It only took that long because a couple of pieces needed to be rotated.

Barnes & Noble. It's published by Penguin. Translated by Robin Buss.

I haven't actually read it yet, so I can't say for certain there's no censorship.

Finding a jury of his peers would be tricky.

I remember watching the first episode and being very confused by the direction it went, so hopefully I get answers

Les Mis was, surprisingly, not originally serialized. He felt we needed to know about those sewers.
lostshadows.bsky.social
Pretty sure it's a publishing back then thing.

Dickens is well known for writing like this.

Some you'd think were, actually aren't.

I was surprised when I learned Les Mis was a one shot.

I've tried, but for some reason there's no audiobook of that translation, so I can't even switch when my arms get tired.

I believe Dumas also had money problems.

Considering how long the third Musketeers book got, I'd be shocked if he didn't.

The last time I saw someone pushing the idea, they claimed it would stop books becoming so padded with filler to make them longer.

As an owner of an unabridged copy of the Count of Monte Cristo, I don't think they really understood how this actually works.
