Mild sadness is somehow a comfortable emotional space for me. A state of joy feels like a foreign territory I can only visit for a short while before feeling overwhelmed. Mild sadness and melancholy feels like a comforting cushion I can sink into and rest in. It feels like home.

Time is elusive and drips away like water falling out of your hands no matter how hard you try keeping it between your palms. I always have to remind myself to use my time wisely, doing things I love, because time is always dripping away.

I watched Paddington in Peru on Friday and it was such a cute and feel-good movie. I was a bit bored with it at the beginning but really enjoyed it as the movie progressed. The bears were absolutely adorable. If only we had talking friendly bears in real life.

Some photos I took of my last hike at Edward’s Gardens. It was a great leg workout with all the snow. I did 15k steps that day and it inspired me to make hiking part of my monthly routine. #hiking #snow #photography #snowphotography #nature
