Patricia-Mathis Burby, 62, of Middleburg has been convicted on eight counts of animal cruelty in #Loudoun Circuit Court. She was found guilty of cruelty in relation to a cat and several dogs in her care. Details: bit.ly/4qmjqyj

#Loudoun County plans to begin enforcing its snow and ice removal ordinance this week. We understand the combination of snow and ice has made shoveling difficult; enforcing the code is part of an effort to provide safe paths for students who walk to school and to bus stops.

Removal of ice and snow is county code! #Loudoun County’s Codified Ordinance, "Removal of Snow and Ice," requires snow removal on sidewalks on properties that are adjacent to public streets. There are exemptions due to age or disability of the resident or property owner.
