On the bench tonight is my lovely Thomson MO5E. The much rarer (and cooler!) variant of the MO5. 6809 with 48k of ram and EFGJ03L graphics chip. 16 colours on screen at 320x200. Not too shabby for 1984. Just look at her!! 😍

One of my favourite Zeddy games...... Running on my ZX80 💪😱 (4K ROM)
October 4, 2025 at 4:33 PM
Managed to finally get hold of a personal unicorn machine! Been after one for a very long time! This is my Indata DAI. An incredibly rare beast from 1980. A monster spec that was reflected in the cost at the time. Lovely. ZX80 for scale 😁 (didn't have a banana)
October 3, 2025 at 10:05 PM
This is just wonderful!!! Just look at it!! 😍 Super low res Asteroids. Absolutely fantastic. Lovely.
September 23, 2025 at 9:10 PM
Ok.. Time for something a wee bit special. This is probably the rarest machine in my collection. As far as we can tell, this is the only one in existence. My Radionic R1001. It's sort of half way between a Komtek 1 and a TRS model 1. A quirky prototype with a lovely keyboard.
September 23, 2025 at 7:25 PM
Ok, I'm calling it!! It's beer o'clock!! 🍻

The moral?? Two fold. 1) don't check the temperature of 2114s with your finger, and 2) don't put a 2114 in the wrong way round and then attempt number 1.

Ouch 🔥
