Alongside some amazing collaborators, we're exploring the impact of green spaces 🌳🌱 for people in hospital after a stroke, their visitors and staff who care for them 💚
This #WorldStrokeDay, we’re pleased to announce a new study on how hospital green spaces can support stroke recovery.

Funded by @thestrokeassoc.bsky.social, it aims to reduce inactivity & improve well-being of stroke survivors.

Today was the last meeting of the Work Together Project, following 6 months of working with our South Asian stroke survivor and carer collaborators to understand how we can better support participation in research. Grateful to all involved.. We've learned so much, now to put it into practice!
South Asian people in the UK are more likely to experience #stroke but frequently underrepresented in research.

Looking forward to learning how we can work collaboratively with this underserved group to design participatory research that meets their needs:
