Thank you again to the Centre for Evidence for the Armed Forces Community (formally the FiMT Research Centre) for my award and for your continued work in "putting evidence at the heart of decision making to enable a thriving Armed Forces community". 3/3
Service children are often an overlooked part of the Armed Forces community. However, authentically listening and responding to service children's diverse and nuanced experiences of military life - their 'invisible service' - is crucial to better understanding & supporting them. 2/3
I am incredibly honoured to have received the Centre for Evidence for the Armed Forces Community's Early Career Researcher Award in recognition of my doctoral research, 'How does military life shape service children's identity and school experiences?'. 1/3
The works were created by these three service children in response to the question 'What does being a service child mean to you?', as part of my doctoral research. You can find my full thesis and a 3-page executive summary via my LinkTree: lnkd.in/efhKPSD3 3/3

Thank you to King's Centre for Military Health Research at King's College London for my glossy copy - my father will be thrilled!
It was a great pleasure to contribute to 'Real Stories 2024' which offers members of the Armed Forces community an opportunity to share their experiences 'through their own lens'. I chose to photograph and reflect on the topic of home. 1/2
