A nursery I worked at had you engaged with the children at all times. We had to follow them around the room to each activity area. Children need opportunities for #ChildLed, independent play and time to be curious and imaginative! I think some EY leaders worry about how it looks when we don’t play.

Women are 2.5x more likely to engage on climate, and I'm glad @cathmckenna.bsky.social and Women Leading on Climate are using that momentum to call for real action at COP29.

Did you know that women are 2.5 times more likely to demand that their government take climate action, 60% more likely to use their voice for good, and twice as likely to engage civically on climate?

Many of them members of the British military, sadly, and one of the reasons why we left in the end

When I was 5 (on Rt), my family moved to Kenya. I felt safe & happy in this vibrant place, but I soon became aware of the privilege I held. My early experiences shaped my understanding of inequality & inspired me to strive for a world where every child can thrive, just as I did 🌍💚 #WorldChildrensDay
This photo shows a group of five people standing outdoors on a sunny day. The group includes an adult man on the far left wearing a light-colored shirt, a young woman and adult woman in the middle—one wearing a white top and the other wearing a blue sleeveless top—and two young children. The children, one with short blonde hair and the other with long blonde hair (me), are positioned at the front and right, respectively. The group appears to be smiling and enjoying the moment, with a thatched-roof structure and trees in the background. The lighting is bright and natural.
