STATIC = FREE (100% CONSISTENT)

byakuren's "magic butterfly" spell card, showing a history of 9/32. because this spell is completely static and the route is trivial, it is in actuality the most easiest spell in the entire game. the joke here is that it took me around 20 attempts to actually get this route down, hence the spell history showing such a poor cap rate.

the challenge is actually "can you 1cc to stage 6 of UFO on lunatic" which is the actual tall order not the score threshold

the funny thing about rensenware is that it's actually really easy to beat (200mil points on lunatic in ufo) the creator just has a skill issue

it doesn't involve any scoring, if you just play for survival you easily get it around stage 5/6

according to steam achievements, the mushihimesama maniac 1-ALL achievement has ~6.1% completion, and imo that's roughly on the level of a medium touhou lunatic. factoring in how touhou has a more casual audience, and around 4% seems like a pretty correct value? idk

I honestly wonder what's the percentage of touhou players who have gotten a lunatic 1cc or lunatic no bomb

according to the touhou popularity poll's questionnaire, the lunatic 1cc percentage is about 18-10% (depending on how easy the game is), but this is inflated due to the audience of the poll

UFO lunatic may not be as soul crushing as I thought. with some boss practice, contingency planning and safer routes, I actually have a good bit of leeway in my route now for stupid mistakes

I'm also bombing more of the earlygame (1 on nazrin, most of kogashit) which hopefully improves consistency
