On October 4, 1915, President Woodrow Wilson set aside 80 acres surrounding the Carnegie Quarry as Dinosaur National Monument, protecting the now-famous “Wall of Bones.”

The monument also became the center of a nationwide conservation fight in 1950s.

We are looking at moving from Square to Wix as Wix is about half the price (and we don't need e-commerce), so there may be some hiccups - mainly with the blog as there is no way to migrate the posts from Sqaure to Wix, so I'll have to C&P + reload images - some of which I will have to dig for 🤪

The shutdown does negatively affect public lands (funding), but there is so much more than our beloved lands that are being attacked by Trump & the GOP, and we need to remember that. Sacrifices are made for the greater good. 🙏💚🏞💚
