If there were ways to quantify the impact of making negative results (or “incomplete stories”) available, I believe we’d be amazed at how much more efficient scientific research could become!

Andreas Ventura showed that normal primary cells can propagate ecDNAs, and that ecDNAs can promote transformation and tumorigenesis in vivo, using elegant in vitro and in vivo models of ecDNA. Fantastic work! #EACR2025
