I'm exploring new engagements! If your team needs expertise in cybersecurity, risk assessment, tech policy, regulations (GDPR, etc.), tech standards, strategic insight, or Comms/PR, let's talk! Open to contract, or flexible roles. DM/email at [email protected].
The US Secretary of Commerce said that Europe must reduce regulations in the technology sector. The EU should also successfully conclude investigations into US big tech. The US may lower tariffs on steel. The EU's proposals are expected in a few months.

The United States, according to information shared with European diplomats, is signaling a firm position: the 28-point US-Russia plan for Ukraine is to be accepted without negotiation "or face the consequences".
November 22, 2025 at 6:16 AM
Agreement on the 28-point US-Russia plan for Ukraine means that those guilty of war crimes will never be brought to justice. It will be swept under the carpet the day after. In today's info environment, this would be highly demoralising for our societies.
November 21, 2025 at 7:04 PM
About the 28-point USA-Russia plan for Ukraine, what does it even mean "All ambiguities of the last 30 years will be considered settled"? How do you "settle" "30 years ambiguities" in a single textual point? 🤡 Ambitious.

Sharp analysis by @harkank.bsky.social on AI-driven cyber and influence threats. It captures very well how agentic tools scale propaganda and why detection needs both humans and ML. It echoes my reserch on AI propaganda factories. www.golem.de/news/propaga...

During the #ePrivacy Regulation work, I advised to EU officials that we can have transparency, control, and privacy without cookie banners, using a browser-level consent signal instead. It now looks like this might actually happen. Time to KILL the cookie banner nightmare.

A teddy bear equipped with AI was meant to be a child’s chat companion, but it eagerly jumped into topics like BDSM and “where to find knives.” The manufacturer stopped sales and cut off access. AI toys need strict filters, testing, and oversight or ot ends in a plush sewer. #AIact #GDPR

In a regulatory filing, Nvidia warned for the first time that its growth may be limited by its customers’ ability to secure data centers, capital, and energy for AI infrastructure. Expanding energy capacity is a complex, multi-year process, Physics may in the end put an upper limit.

Meanwhile, both AI Act and #GDPR can be cut even more in the European Parliament. There's definitely a will and intent to do this. The necessary votes are likely there, or almost there.

Huge WhatsApp data breach. Fun fact: if the (based on the leaked one, yes I know that what's being released tomorrow is already modified) proposal to modify #GDPR passes, maybe it would not be a breach because then today's personal data no longer are personal data?? www.wired.com/story/a-simp...

Worth noting: European railways have become a key target. They’re critical to NATO’s military logistics. One failure can block thousands of kilometres of transport routes.

Russia has embraced a novel technique: Sabotage-as-a-Service.💣

It’s outsourcing disruption like gig work. Immigrants and petty criminals are recruited via Telegram with offers of quick jobs: hang a poster, set fire to a telecom box, cut a cable, snap a photo. Cheap. Simple. Anonymous.

UK plans to ban ransom payments for critical infrastructure. Businesses warn the ban won't stop cyberattacks and could force essential services to collapse when backup systems disappear, choosing to break the law or watching infrastructure go down. What's more important?

Germany and France to scrap the FCAS fighter jet because Airbus and Dassault are quarreling. They're considering a "combat cloud" linking fighters and drones using AI. In 2025 just throw "artificial intelligence" into anything to sound more serious. Problem solved.
