Oh I can imagine some of the folks on that Reddit were salivating at the chance to make certain kinds of comments.

Genuinely the lack of any sort of enforcement on public transport has led to some absolute horror shows.

Reading that has made me vibrate with anger. Having been a regular Dublin Bus user for most of my life I have seen everything and have even been attacked on the 67. But this is just a whole different level of pre-planned vindictiveness and pure evil.

I felt similarly after the Australia game at the last Autumn Internationals, it was a good day out, but just not worth the price of entry. I think what we're seeing now is folks like us who have had that same realisation and are just saying fuck that

I almost had an aneurysm when I saw the prices for the France game. The amount of people who made a weekend of it in Italy purely because it was better value and they could buy through the FIR website was insane. Why would anyone ever attend a match at home

And that's for the the game against Scotland in the Aviva. Why would I ever go and see the men's team when I could get in 2 or 3 Leinster games AND the a Women's international for the same price.

What's telling is when looking at the seating map is that it's only a few isolated seats left in the posh section and then big blocks in the upper decks and corners. Certain folks are being priced out, myself included.

My first attempt at college in Letterkenny in 2014 70cl of Tomova in Aldi for 12 Euro, for a 19 year old on the full maintenance grant... it's a miracle I only ended up in Letterkenny General once.

It's stupidly easy and more cost effective to get THC carts these days, HHC was everywhere for a bit.
