The last dnd session I ran had no combat, just RP and planning the parties next moves and my very combat focused player came up to me afterward and said how much they enjoyed the session.

When I came up a more senario involving an ancient crystallized necrotic fungus which animates the dead found near a creepy taxidermied sea life and seashell museum, I did not expect a throw away detail about Windex in a janitorial closet to be the key to defeating the horde of undead clamshells!
