The team is relaxing a long-held policy of certain types of gear glamour only being equip-able by certain roles. "Use any gear in your glamour, irrespective of class, job or level restriction." However, weapons/tools are exempt due to animations.

Sketchy comic depicting my FFXI character Yulimaya during her confrontation with Ark Angel MR. MR stands ominously across from Yuli as the latter assumes a determined battlestance in spite of the anxiousness coursing through her body. However, there is something about MR that catches her eye. In the next page, MR stands with a sinister smile (in the present), which for Yuli is strikingly familiar to a different person altogether (in the past). The person in question is her father, obscured in darker tones and shadow. Old, buried memories resurface from everything that MR represents. Below the first two panels, Yulimaya's frightened eyes as a child can be seen here, surrounded by two clawed hands placed in an abstract fashion near her face, with cracks seeping into the frame. Black and white thorns permeate the rest of the page, while Yulimaya (drawn in white) is shown with those same two hands now gripping her throat tightly, with the intent to kill. As discussed in the past, envy plays a large part in Yuli's early life, as it is the envy her father felt toward her mother's achievements as a famed warrior that drove him to madness - culminating in an attempt on the life of her most precious child. On the next page, a Mithran woman is seen with a frenzied expression, fangs bared to attack and save Yulimaya from harm - this woman, being her mother. Blood is present throughout the entire page, as a means of depicting the ferocity of her assault, leading into the aftermath of the event. Yulimaya's mother clutches onto her with trembling arms, stained with her former lover's blood. The child is very visibly in shock, though still manages to look over at her now deceased father lying in a pool of his own blood. In the final page, her mother takes hold of her face more closely to make sure she is okay; as well as to calm herself from the horrors of both nearly losing her child and killing the one person who she believed would never do her harm. Tears fall from her eyes, and land on Yulimaya's face. The child looks on, with some semblance of light returning to her eyes.
