It’s really annoying because I live in Portland and have for decades. It’s never been a perfect utopia. We have lived through things that genuinely made me nervous, like gang shootings and more so Nazi Skinheads. Protests at ICE is mild in comparison. The governments lies about my city is unhinged.
I have lived in the same inner-city Portland neighborhood for 30 years. It’s the best. It’s not perfect, but my family feels completely safe. You have to have street smarts & not leave valuables in your car at night, but that’s it. I can walk anywhere at night alone and am not scared.
Can we talk about Portland? There has been non stop military helicopters flying overhead all night. It’s unreal. I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone, not my hometown.
I drove by yesterday and there were no protesters at all. There was a terrifying group of children with a fund raising table set up outside their school next door. I wonder if they are Antifa disguised as children? Or children of Antifa? It was suspicious!
Their boycott will not make a dent. MAGA supporters are not as numerous as they think it is. Most Americans are not extremists like MAGA and are sick of this nonsense.
It’s weird how much information has been released about this and so little about the guy that shot Trump’s ear. I don’t understand why that investigation hasn’t been a major news story. It disappeared from the news really quickly.
He can create his own network w/ gov’t sanctioned shows rather than canceling highly rated comedians that make fun of him. It’s easy these days to pick what you like & avoid what you don’t. His hook could be “all MAGA, all the time. It’s not up to him or anyone else to decide what we watch.
Political humor is obviously popular according to the ratings. Perhaps instead of canceling comedians that make fun of Trump and hurt his feelings, he should recruit government sanctioned comedians for their own show on Fox? It’s easy enough to change the channel if you don’t like something.
Good for you, but the Bible is clear that you alone will be judged at the gates of heaven. Judge me all you want to, but it will do nothing for your salvation, except waste your time. I am confident in my relationship with God and being Christlike in my day to day.
You should be comforted in the fact that you will be judged at the gates of heaven by your actions alone and not by your opinion of what others do. You will not get a salvation bonus by condemning others. Trump will face God in the exact same way as you and me.
Yikes. No. Not every subscribes to Christian Nationalism including many Christians. The Bible is clear that we are supposed to be Christlike in our day to day. He may be a martyr to you and your beliefs, similar to how Martin Luther King can be considered one because of the causes he stood for.
Hi Edith, no one should mock anyone’s death or spew hateful rhetoric towards anyone. We are expected to be Christlike in our day to day, including government officials.
