Victim of the Meta banwave of 2025 (hundreds of thousands [or millions?] of accounts being randomly permanently suspended by Meta's moronic AI for bogus reasons)...

I wonder how Messer Chups manages to tour the U.S. regularly... What is their secret? A hidden wealthy benefactor? Knowing the right methods and connections for discreetly gaming the system?
And needless to say, the Miki Berenyi Trio was amazing. I am grateful for her making one last U.S. visit. It's such a shame that the U.S. gov't makes it incredibly difficult for foreign artists to tour here. And venues demanding a cut of the $$ from artists' merch sales just adds insult to injury.
Gina Birch was splendid last night in S.F. Even though she was short one band member due to U.S. visa fuckery, her set was very satisfying and engaging. She got a little help from Miki Berenyi and co. for a few tunes. And I got to experience three bass guitars being used simultaneously for a song.
i'm disgusted on your behalf... venues demanding a cut of the band merch $ is one of my biggest pet peeves
ooo will there maybe be Peter hook-influenced bass parts on the next Suede album??
I made an event listing on MeWe for the upcoming show... Not that anyone there will see it, but it's important for me to get in the habit of doing it for the sake of those marginalized by the Meta ban wave who can't see Facebook event listings, Instagram posts, etc.

Our planned set list includes songs by the Kinks, the Standells, the Yardbirds, the Bee Gees, the Remains, Them, the Red Squares, the Creation, the Who, Downliners Sect, and Spirit.

(the Bee Gees tune we do is from their Spicks and Specks album, but is not the title track...)
the Hormones are an all-female Ramones tribute band... Cosmic Egg are a Wolfmother tribute... We (the Diversions) play assorted tunes from both well-known and obscure mid 1960s garage/freakbeat/mod acts...
Threw together a flyer for a show one of my bands is playing at. I have no way to inform friends about it as I've been wrongfully suspended from Facebook since April.
One of the very worst things about being a victim of the Meta ban wave is not knowing if/when any of the friends that you are cut off from have died. I just now found out that Mark passed away 5 months ago, shortly after my account was fraudulently suspended. I wonder if anyone else I knew has died.
Mark Deutsch Blended Math, Music, and Mysticism. The Result Was the Bazantar | In Sheeps Clothing
A classically trained bassist with a mind for cosmology and non-linear math, he set out to build an instrument that could express both intuition and structure. The result was a five-string acoustic ba...

If it's from severe overcompression during mastering (a.k.a., the Beatles "Now and Then" issue), is there a Dolby Atmos stereo downmix version available? The Atmos downmix version of the the "new" Beatles tune was a HUGE improvement over the original severely overcompressed digital release.
I am confused about the Last Dinner Party's new album (From the Pyre). Supposedly there are 3 dozen additional musicians playing orchestral instruments all over it, but I can't really hear them. Maybe I hear a tiny bit of them on a couple songs. Why is this? Bad compression during digital mastering?
everything about spotify sucks shit
One of the horrible things about being a victim of the Meta ban wave is not seeing posts about important upcoming events. This event is something I try to attend every year. Fortunately I suddenly remembered about it a few days ago and looked it up online and found out it hadn't happened yet.
