My surname is Shepherd. Someone made a "German shepherd" joke at me in elementary school, and it stuck.

I look at Luprand as ... me, plus. Same basic appearance, same awkwardness, just a bit of magic and a penchant for growth.

My mom told me a couple of times how her mother used to pack peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches for her school lunches.
Apparently, the mayo keeps the peanut butter from sticking to the roof of your mouth. On the other hand ... eugh.
