I’ll never stop loving mermaids and flowers. For the next few days I’ll share some art of my Fleurmaids “collection”. Collection is in quotation marks because I have a grand total of 4 variations but staring at them always tempts me to draw moreeee. I know I started a rose one but never finished~~~
My newspaper box for Weekly Volcano is currently on display for the next couple of weeks at the Courthouse Square lobby in Downtown Tacoma, WA! You can vote by donating, and artists get to have 50% of the donations made to their box!
This project is a lot more manual labor (and money $$$$) than I thought it would be. I’m painting this newspaper box essentially for free to enter a local art contest. The contest is on the 20th at a local art fair. Voting is done through donation, and all artists will get a percentage of that.
I was today years old when I realized these illustrations were inspired by misheard lyrics… I thought the words were “She’s got kisses sweeter than the strawberry seas”

If you were at SakuraCon on Saturday, did you have a lot of fun? I still enjoyed my time there although the evacuation over smoke hazards did put a damper on things since I was hanging out in the upper levels of the Arch building that day.
